grammar correction: In August 2020, the Alliance launched the “SHESAFE”, a program that supports vulnerable women and children financially. Every Independence Day (July 26) and Christmas, we distribute food, money, and baby diapers to 40 teen mothers in Ganta to put smiles on their faces. Teen mothers struggle with the need for babies and it’s an effort to ease their worries and reduce some burden. We are optimistic about making this program bigger and reaching out to many mothers in the future. Our major challenge has been finances, our current most accurate sponsor is based in the US and is a full-time student.
