Learn About the Alliance for Peace, Justice, and Human Rights

The Alliance for Peace, Justice, and Human Rights is a non-profit organization founded in 2019. We focus on advocating for human rights, social justice, and conflict resolution in Liberia, empowering communities to reclaim their rights and transform their lives through collective action and policy influence.

Our initiatives have successfully empowered countless individuals and groups to advocate for their rights and drive social change.

Our Journey Towards Peace and Justice

Founded in 2019, the Alliance for Peace, Justice, and Human Rights emerged from the urgent need to combat teenage pregnancies and human rights violations in Liberia. Personal experiences of the founder illustrated the challenges faced by young girls, exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic, which trapped many in abusive situations. This inspired the formation of a collective movement to address these issues through community empowerment and advocacy.

The Alliance was established to tackle pressing issues such as teenage pregnancies and human rights violations, spurred by the founder’s personal experiences and the detrimental impacts of COVID-19 on vulnerable populations in Liberia.

The Alliance focuses on addressing teenage pregnancies and human rights abuses, driven by real-life experiences and collective community action.
