Tomorrow June 23, 2026, the PeaceGen Liberia – Generation for Peace Project officially launches. This project is funded by the European Union in Liberia and co-funded by the Embassy of Ireland.
This morning, the consortium headed by Kvinna till Kvinna and co-partner Women NGOs Secretariat of Liberia and other members participated in a radio talk show to introduce the project and inform the public about its goals and importance.
PEACEGEN Liberia is a transformative initiative aimed at strengthening peace building, reconciliation, and transitional justice across Liberia. The project seeks to create meaningful opportunities for women, youth, survivors, and communities to actively engage in dialogue and decision-making processes that promote healing, accountability, justice, and sustainable peace.
By amplifying diverse voices and fostering inclusive participation, PEACEGEN Liberia will build a more peaceful, united, and resilient future for all Liberians. Together we can advance reconciliation, address past injustices, and create lasting foundations for peace.
